GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPY EATS 5 TIMES A DAY DOES HE NEED A SERVING EACH TIME

June 10, 2014

I have a golden retriever puppy, and he eats about 5 cups of food a day. If I understand correctly, I would have to give him 5 servings a day of your product. I currently give him a supplement with his Science Diet Food he eats. The supplement is once a day. If I give my dog your supplement, five times a day, is he getting too much of certain vitamins, minerals, and enzymes? For a 90 day supply, I would need 450 servings; that seems like a lot. Do you have to give the serving per cup? Do you get any benefits by giving a reduced amount, say one serving in the morning feeding and one with the evening feeding? I do not show my Golden but always keep my eye open to ensure he stays in good health.

Hi Jim,

Am I to understand that you feed 1 cup of food 5 times a day to your pup? If so, then the supplement should be fed With each feeding. It is calibrated to work with each cup of food. If you are feeding twice a day, say 2-1/2 cups each feeding, I would give a rounded teaspoon with each meal. Many people are cutting back on the amount fed after they have been on it for a while and still are seeing the benefits from it. Hope this answers your question; if not, post me again and we will work this out.
