My 9 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi was born with inflammatory bowel disease. We supplement her food With digestive enzymes, omega fatty acids, aloe vera to reduce inflammation, plus a number of other supplements. Having done years of careful experimentation to find a regimen that keeps her healthy, I would appreciate hearing of any experience you have with dogs having this congenital problem. Also, my other Cardigan has had dry flaky skin since birth and although also supplement her food With omega fatty acids, nothing seems to help. You state that your supplement helps With oily skin, but What about excessively dry skin? Both dogs have evidenced struvite crystals in their urine, Which We keep under control with l-methionine. It Would be Wonderful if I could replace all these with one supplement, but I am hesitant to try something new. I’d be grateful to have a response to these concerns.

Hi Gwen,

The Everyday Health Supplement Show Dog formula has been a great deal of help for all the conditions you describe, including the bowel. You would have to continue acidifying the urine with l-met or vitamin C. I would also recommend the Healthy Skin and Coat formula for the dry flaky skin. Give it a try and if you are not successful you may get your money back. Please let us know how things work out. My best to you.
