We have two 6 year old boxers (litter mates) and one suffers from epilepsy which is controlled by a low dose of Phenobarbital and 1000 mg of potassium bromide. He is also has hypothyroid and that’s treated with 0.7mg of thyroxine. Since taking the potassium bromide he has experienced weakness in his hind legs. They are fed a raw food diet (Dr.Pitcairn’s recipes) and Brutus gets milk thistle to remove toxins from his liver (which through blood tests proves to have helped). Which supplement would you suggest they take, especially Brutus, to help strengthen his system stressed by all these medications?

In this case I would suggest the High Performance Dog formula, as it contains some extra fatty acids that are beneficial, in addition to the other ingredients. This should be a very good supplement for an epileptic dog. This will normalize the entire physiology of your dog and you will see the effect sometime after 3 weeks. Good luck with your dogs.
