MINIATURE POODLE WEIGHING ABOUT TEN POUNDS IS ALWAYS ITCHING BUT HAS NO FLEAS

June 10, 2014

Okay Doc:

I've got a question. My dog "Rudee" itches a lot of the time. He kind of chews on himself, though not through the skin. Now I know that him and dog food with corn as one of the first three or four ingredients don't get along at all. I've put him on a strict diet of Purina HA, so I doubt if that is the problem. He also itches himself too some of the time. He's a Miniature Poodle weighing about ten pounds, and has no fleas at all. Got any suggestions?

Hi Bill,

First, have a stool done to see that your dog is free of worms. Then put him on my Healthy Skin and Coat formula. We have had good luck with these mysteriously itching dogs.
