Why is a German shepards life span so short???
A German Shepherd’s life span is shorter than they used to be because of all the inbreeding that has been done over the last 30 years. The close Breeding has given the American GSD a gene pool that is common to almost every dog in the country. To correct this we need new blood. When close breeding occurs, the good the bad and the ugly are all concentrated....The bad genes may often be things we do not see from the outside....for example the most common is the perpetuation of poor immune systems....in the shepherd this is VERY common. This leads to poor defense against disease and thus early deterioration of the dogs body....My Everyday Health supplement will help lengthen the dogs life .... Hope this answers your question...
