7 YEAR OLD LHASA WHO IS SHOWING SIGNS OF ARTHRITIS IN HER FRONT LEFT LEG MAYBE FROM AN OLD ACCIDENT WITH A CAR

June 10, 2014

I have a 7 year old Lhasa who is showing signs of arthritis in her front left leg. The paw of this leg was run over by a car about a year ago and the tendon was smashed but reattached and healed perfectly. About 3 months ago her walking became quite labored and I had her X-rayed. My vet determined that her leg has healed perfectly, but the X-ray wouldn't reveal signal any inflammation. We decided to try cortizone, and her gait returned to normal immediately. She’s been fine until a few days ago when I noticed the limp returning. I think she might benefit from your Healthy Joint supplement, but I was wondering if this would be a daily thing for life or only something that I feed her when I perceive her discomfort‘?

Hi Kathryn,

I think the Anti-inflammatory supplement would definitely help your dog. I would feed it every
day, as this way it will maintain the blood level of the herbs. This way the dog should never have
to suffer the pain of the injury.
