I have a 10 year old mixed breed Lab (probably mixed with German Shepherd). April '99 he quite suddenly started having digestive problems. Prozyme seems to be doing the trick. Will he have to have it the rest of his life? He is also presently on a mixed diet of oatmeal beef or fish a few veggies and maybe a few bites of fruit and Eukanuba low residue dog food. He is fed twice a day. Can I change the dog food part of his diet? And, lastly, if I use the formula you have for older dogs with joint issues, will he get enough of the Prozyme? I presently use 1/4 to 1/2 tsp her feeding. Thank you.

You may eliminate all kibble if you feed the meat products, about 30% of the diet by volume, and make the balance of Brown rice and rolled oats from the horse food store and cook them very well. some veggies, and 1 to 2 tsp. CANOLA OIL PLUS the Everyday Health supplement. You would have to use l and 1/2 times the recommended amount of the Healthy Joint formula as it does not contain the full complement of prozymes the regular supplements do. It should work very well for you.
