DACHSHUND AND HE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH FLOATING CARTILAGE IN HIS NECK HOW ABOUT SHARK CARTILAGE

June 10, 2014

Dr. Kruger,

Hello I have a dachshund and he has been diagnosed with floating cartilage in his neck which gives him pain like Arthritis would a human. The vet gave him Rimadyl but I have read that Shark Cartilage will help in the long run. I was wondering if you sold them? Willy really needs some relief. He is six and I want to have him around for as long as I can. Thank you

Hi Elizabeth,

I am not quite clear about floating cartilage in the neck. Perhaps there is another term we use here. At any rate usually there may be a disc problem, and perhaps that is what is going on. I do not carry shark cartilage as such, but my Healthy Joint formula has the active ingredient from Cartilage in it along with other herbal pain relievers. It would be safe to give him the supplement on a long term basis without any side affects. If you use it please let me hear from you again.
